Nope. Still Can't Properly Open Ketchup Packets.

I feel I've become more self conscious and inhibited.
For example, anything I think is worth blogging about turns into a 'no one wants to hear about that!'-type internal dialogue minutes later.
Like right now, I'm thinking: What are you typing? No one wants to read about your insecurities.

I'm afraid this is all I've got for the moment.
Anyway.

Today there was a piece in the paper about a mufti denouncing "faking one's virginity."

Last week there was another one talking about how women should not be allowed to go on the internet without a male guardian present.

It amazes me how these people handle issues of this magnitude with such grace.
I mean, really?
That's what you want to talk about?

What will it take for these people to wake up?
It's not cute anymore.

Saudis will get me on this;

Why is everyone in this country so angry about the Dubai metro?

I know we're jealous of the progress the UAE has made, but really we need to stop hating.

Rofl, shouldn't be allowed to go on the internet without a guardian? oh dear.
Sometimes they don't try to give a solution, but instead just shutoff everything to avoid the hassle, "aaahhh.. i can't be arsed.." or something like that. x_X
And haha, Saudis are angry about the metro in Dubai? Jealousy sure know its' way around with us Saudis.

Why are they angry about the Dubai metro? I've been out of the loop for a while - well, out of the country, and haven't been reading the local news.

Feeling the hate sister.

Also, who's mad ? Hell this should drive people's asses top them and do something better !!

And, having the same "No one wants to hear about that" blogging thing. Blech.

IF YOU WANNA KNOW WHAT KIND OF PROGRESS THE UAE HAS MADE READ MY LATEST POST. IT WAS WRITTEN BACK IN APRIL AND I FORGOT TO PUBLISH IT UNTIL NOW.

BY THE WAY SAUDIS ARE NOT JEALOUS OF THE SOCALLED PROGRESS OF THE UAE. ACTUALLY EMARATIS SEEM TO BE JEALOUS OF SAUDIS. THEY ARE TRYING THEIR BEST TO BE THE SUPERPOWER OF THE KHALEEJ IN WHATEVER WAY THEY CAN. WETHER UNITING WITH QATAR AND BAHRAIN, TRYING TO BUILD A BRIDGE BETWEEN THEM AND QATAR. TRYING TO CLAIM LAND THEY THINK IS THEIRS EVENTHOUGH THEIR EXLEADER SHEIKH ZAYED 35 YEARS AGO SIGNED AN AGREEMENT WITH KSA THAT IT IS ACTUALLY SAUDI LAND. THE UAE IS HEADING INTO SELF DESTRUCT MODE JUST TRYING TO COMPETE WITH KSA. AND IN A COUNTRY SO SMALL THERE IS A LIMIT ON WHAT YOU CAN SELL BUT BY THE LOOKS OF IT THERE WON'T BE MUCH LEFT FOR THE EMARATIS ONCE THEIR GREEDY LEADERS FINISH ''MODERNISING'' IT'S ACTUALLY ''PROSTITUTING'' THE LAND. YOU JUST HAVE TO SPEND SOME TIME IN THE UAE TO REALISE THAT WHAT I'M SAYING ARE FACTS.
BY THE WAY THE METRO SUCKS. I DON'T SEE EMARATIS USING IT. ONLY THE FOREIGNERS. IT WAS ACTUALLY BUILT TO SHOW THE WORLD THAT DUBAI HAS A METRO TOO AND THAT DUBAI IS A MODERN STATE. WHAT DA FUCK! WHO CARES ANYBODY WITH MONEY CAN BRING INDIAN LABOURERS AND UK ENGINEERS OR AMERICAN OR WHATEVER THEY WERE AND TELL THEM TO BUILD A METRO FOR THEM. I WOULD RESPECT THEM MORE IF THEY ACTUALLY DESIGNED AND BUILT IT THEMSELVES BUT JUST LIKE ALL ARAB STATES THEY WORSHIP THE WHITE MAN AND HAVE NO FAITH IN THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
THE UAE IS FASHIONABLE NOW BUT WILL BURST SOONER OR LATER AND QATAR WILL BE THE NEXT FASHIONABLE GULF STATE AND THAT WILL BURST TOO ETC.....
I FEEL SORRY FOR ALL THE LAZY EMARATIS THAT WILL GET HIT REALLY HARD WHEN THAT BUBBLE FINISHES BURSTING. WE WENT THROUGH THIS IN THE 70'S AND 80'S PRODUCING LAZY SAUDIS AND THEN BANG WE WERE HIT REAL HARD IN THE 90'S AND WE HAVE LEARNT FROM OUR MISTAKES AND NOW YOU DO SEE SAUDIS WORKING REGULAR JOBS TO MAKE A LIVING.
JEALOUS? NO.
WE JUST FEEL SORRY FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY KNOW NOTHING YET.

HRH KING AL RASHID.

"Faking one's virginity?" "Women not allowed to go on the internet without a male supervision?" I just don't understand why they have to be such big issues to be on the paper.

Ubergirl, I always enjoy and appreciate your opinion in your blog, so please keep posting though you feel "No one wants to hear about that". I think there are others who feel the same as I do. I look forward to your next post.
