Do Not Worry the Wildlife

It is so ironic that the person who has always told me never to completely trust anyone ended up screwing me over unbelievably.
How do I know if it's made me bitter?

I met the most random person a couple of days ago. Pharrell Williams!
He has the most amazing skin I have ever seen.
He wears makeup, right? He has to. He looks like a wax figure.

Okay I've been playing around with this damn Mac and I can't figure out how to crop the photo, so you'll have to wait to see photographic evidence of the hotness that is Pharrell (I swear his complexion is unnatural.. )

A few days ago a man told me "Arabs are racists who have too much money for their own good."

Well, that's news to me.
I'd appreciate it if someone directed me to the people who give out the cheques for being arrogant and Arabic?

The Olympics are all over the place, and the media is hating on China like anything.
China must be so pissed. Can you imagine throwing a big party only to have your guests criticize everything you've ever done? Man I'd just kick everyone out.
And with so many skeletons in its closet, why did China even want to host the Olympics? That's just asking for trouble.

Are you kidding? Have you ever looked into some of the outrageous subsidies citizens of Gulf States get? What do Qatari citizens get from the government when they get married, for instance? The only thing I got when I got married in the US was an increase in my tax rate.

Well I doubt anybody will criticise a chinese party what with all the guns pointed at the first person who even dare murmurs the slightest indignation. Damn, communism just rules doesnt it?

Actually now that I think about it parties organized by women arent all that much different.

I think they were nuts to let China host the Olympics in the first place.

It is so ironic that the person who has always told me never to completely trust anyone ended up screwing me over unbelievably.

They were trying to send a subtle warning, no?

A few days ago a man told me "Arabs are racists who have too much money for their own good."

We are no better than others, and I sadly see this semi-daily.

It's so funny that someone says 'Arabs are racists they just..'
without seeing the irony of this statement.

Pharrell? :|
Omg. Can I hate you or can I hate you?? :p

I think it's pretty effed up how everyone is behaving over China.
But I'm glad they're kicking ass! So they can rub that in the faces of all of the haters :)

Why can't people just shut up about politics...just for a minute, and enjoy the games. Let China's athletes have their moment to shine..

Here you go! Not sure where arrogance fits into the equation, but...

@craig...First of all most of the Sardinian country are heavily subsidized, and for the most part are welfares States. I don't see anybody criticizing them. If Qatar has the means to pamper their citizens so be it. I think they should, and Arab and Gulf countries that pamper citizens applauded for their action.

@ubergirl

The Olympics are the biggest, and the costliest public relation campaign any country can wish for. Many country fights for the chance to host the Olympics. China needed the Olympics like no other country to clean it image, the communist country for the most part did a wonderful job so far in organizing the game, that breathtaking spectacular opening was all worth it.

As for the media, I do believe they backed up a little after the opening, and seeing China dedication in making this Olympiad, an event to remember.

As for their Human rights record, Tibet issue, and other things that china lacks behind; you can't solve everything all at once. At the same time you can’t isolate China, they are just too big, to industrious, and know how to play the game.

And that’s my 2 cents worth comment and sorry for the long response ubber, and have a wonderful completion of your summer holiday.

PC is a homar, never mind him. He hates Islam and Arabs so it will be hard to get anything out of him that is rational or goes beyond his own hatred.

The person who told you to never trust anyone and then screwed you over? It would seem they told you that because they knew themselves. People often project themselves onto others and their issues.

As a human you must trust people, it is a risk, but every once in awhile it is worth it.
